The Barca man himself have reacted to the controversy and cleared the air that he has no intention of leaving the club, suggesting that the only person that can discuss his transfer is main agent Arturo Canales.

Aside the message posted on twitter, he also retweeted a post from a journalist suggesting the midfield position is over occupied in FC Barcelona. Following the stir of the tweet, he immediately decided to clear the air about the tweet he posted.
An agent of Ivan Rakitic Miquel Sors caused a stir on twitter on Friday 22 when he tweeted “I think it’s time to depart…” which apparently was refering to the move of Andre Gomes from Valencia to FC Barcelona. The tweet means that there’s a possibility that Rakitic will leave Barca.
Ivan Rakitic who began his holiday after Croatia was eliminated from the Euro 2016 was attacked by hoodlums. The Barca man choose to spend the break with his wife (Raquel) and two daughters (Adara and Althea) in an expensive home in Ugljan Island in Croatia when the incident happened which prompted him to change plans.
Ivan Rakitic believes his side in the Euro 2016 can repeat what they did against Spain on Saturday in the 1/8 final stage of the competition. He stressed that for the Portugal team to come out on top in the 1/8 final in the Euro 2016 against Croatia, they will need more than Cristiano Ronaldo.
