Barcelona 3-1 Athletic Bilbao: MSN helps the Blaugranas qualify in the next stage of Copa del Rey

The trident of FC Barcelona return to their scoring ability as Luis Suarez scored with a perfect cross from Neymar, while the Brazilian scored with the penalty award to Barcelona and Lionel Messi scored with a direct and perfect free kick. While the opponent were only able to put a goal against the Catalan club leaving the goals on aggregate to 4-3. [HIGHLIGHT BELOW]

Barcelona had created lot of chances to score more goals that they were even denied a clean goal scored by Suarez with Neymar’s assist. But they kept playing on for it’s not the first time they’ve being robbed in a game like that.

The first goal came in the 34th minute of the game when a through pass from Messi to Neymar. A short run with the ball and then a perfect cross from the left to the right where Suarez was located. The Uruguayan took a perfect volley that directed the ball straight into the net.

Neymar on the left caused havoc on the left inside within the box when he was tackled by to players and was brought down and immediately the referee pointed to the spot. Messi was suppose to take it but he left it for Neymar being that it was he who invoked the penalty and the Brazilian makes no mistake to place the ball in the left while Goalkeeper Gorka dived right.

Athletic Bilbao were only able to score a goal after five minutes into the second half. When Eric Saborit received a cross and head the ball down while the ball bounced into the net.

Leveled on aggregate of 3-3 between the two side before Messi came up with the spectacular free kick that saw the ball went down to the extreme right of the goal post. Once again Goalkeeper Gorka was a spectator of Messi free kick as he stood still to watch as the ball found it’s way into the post.
