Jordi Alba scores his first league goal after two years

For the first time after two years of playing for Barcelona in league games, Jordi Alba have recorded his first goal. The left back player had assisted with two goals last weekend and has now ended his goal drought in the Spanish La Liga.

The left back scored the third goal for his side after Lionel Messi had penetrated the defense and stumbled upon taking the shot. That was where Jordi Alba came in and took shot that was able to extend the lead for Barcelona.

The last time the 27 years old scored was when the Catalan club played against Almeria away from home in November 2014. The goal was assisted by Luis Suarez. Jordi later scored two more goals that same season, the first one was with Elche at the Camp Nou and second one was against Sevilla all in the Copa del Rey competition.
