The latest series of contract renewal in Real Madrid leaves some player uncomfortable in their position. Sergio Ramos is currently the second highest earner in Real Madrid, only behind Cristiano Ronaldo. But he may lose that position dear to him after Toni Kross contract review as well as Gareth Bale’s salary proposal.
The captain’s contract with the club will end in 2020 and until then, his take home salary is 10 million euros per season. While Cristiano Ronaldo earns 20 million euros per season, Bale is set to earn as much as 16 or 17 million euro per season which is much higher than the captain’s.
After tough negotiations and many exit rumours, Ramos’ role in Madrid is in an obvious decline.
