Aleix Vidal is tired and frustrated that he’s still a Barcelona player. The right back have decided to leave Barca after his non participation in six consecutive games for Barca. According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, the 27 years old told members of his teammates in the dressing room that his wish is to leave the club.
“It’s now obvious, I want to leave,” that what he said to his teammates in the locker room.
Things went south for the right back after it was rumored that he was having a bad relationship with Luis Enrique. His performance both in competitive games and training have not for once put a smile on the coach’s face. Aleix Vidal was believed to have being the perfect replacement for Dani Alves who left the club for Juventus in the last summer transfer. Instead, Luis Enrique preferred the natural midfielder Sergi Roberto who’s now the undisputed no.1 right back for his team. And of course, Sergi Roberto have lived up to expectation to the point where he was called up by the coach of Spain national team.
The real problem is that Barcelona may find it hard to let go of the player. It cost the club 18 million euro to buy the defender from Sevilla in 2015 but no club may be will to pay that much for a player who have had two unimpressive seasons.
