Luis Enrique: Celta can be very dangerous to their rival

enrique press talkAhead of the game against the former club where he coached, Luis Enrique spoke to press men on certain issues. His main talking points were on Messi’s absence Arda filling the no. 10 player on his squad. In the conference, he applauded Iniesta for his 600th game for FC Barcelona.

On Iniesta

So far, Iniesta have played 599 game for the club. If he his performance was not so good, I don’t think he would have played up to what he’s played. You cannot only talk about how many games he has played but how he played those games. The possibility of him playing his 600th game only leaves us with pride.

On injured Messi

Unfortunately for us, last season Messi was out of play for about two months and we won matches within these period. It’s important for the players to know that if they must win titles, they have to play together as a team and which they are doing. Leo is doing great, his healing process is going as planned. When he’s ready to play, I’ll tell you.

On Arda Turan performance

Arda’s numbers in terms of goals have improved tremendously, we consider his adaptation has improved. Let’s recall last season, he could not play until January. I’m just happy that his performance have improved but there’s still room for improvement which is what the fans want

On Paco Alaccer

Paco Alcacer is doing very fine, he joined us toward the end of pre-season which is why he did not have the chance to train. So far he have started in two matches and his dedication to the team have being good. He needs time to adapt to the team. I’m delighted with all my players which includes Paco Alcacer.

On Celta Vigo

Celta can be very dangerous to their rival and we know it will be a tough game. Although the lost some important players like Nolito but they also acquired new ones. They’ve had good result in League games as well as Europa League, they’re not a team to write off.
